an election eve story...2008!

well november 4th is finally almost here. we'd like to share a story with you, the personal experience of a friend in shepherd rescue, who lives in the carolinas. here, in her own words, is the story:

"the rally i went to was at night in the inner city. i parked my car on the street a few blocks down. there were lines for close to a mile to get in, and going in there were groups trying to incite the crowd. nothing. no response. it was clear to me that i was in the minority here, i wondered if it would be different on the way back to my car. after obama talked there was no minority. honest to god there wasn't. i can't describe it but we all felt it. there was not a single bashing word spoken there by him, this man who would be our leader, and the crowd followed suit. unity. a president for america. not the left or the right. not the dems or reps. not white or black, rich or poor, old or young...just all of us together. united we stood. i have never felt safer than walking back to my car in the inner city at 11pm as i did that night. if i was even a little on the fence, that would have sold me. the man is a leader."

tomorrow the people will speak. vote hope not fear. vote obama/biden.
