remembering peggy...

1946 again...

and "x-mas, 1947" according to notation on the back of this one...

we ended the day here at shangri-la by lighting a candle in memory of peggy...maker of fabulous lemon pies, snoball cakes, and rye bread toast. hostess extraordinaire. reunited again with brother paul, but always alive in the memory of those who love her. and while looking through our "magic box of memories", we're again reminded of the incredible power of the photographic image to reach across space and time and touch the heart.
